Swazi Update Part 2!

Here is an update on our fundraising for Swazi! :

As many of you know we had a Garage Sale a few weekends back and it went phenomenally! Jesus definitely showed up and showed off! We raised about $1800!? Thank you to all who helped make this possible: Marisa Flores for face painting, donating, and helping with sales - Thanks to the Creightons for all the donations!- Thanks to Courtney Kastner for coming over the night before into the wee hours of the morning helping us to price everything!?- Thanks to Courtney Yarbrough for your donations!- Thanks to Tara Walsh for stopping by and supporting us financially, thanks to Meghan Matt for stopping by and supporting us financially!- Thanks to Kristy Allen for donating items! ( Courtney made me keep the baby books ;) ) - Thanks to Mr. Perry for helping us move some big items & Mrs. Kelley for cooking for us so we didn't have to worry about food! And your tables!- Thanks to JP for coming out to help us!- Emily & Shane for donating items!- And anyone else I forgot I'm sorry, but THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for making this a huge success!

After to Garage Sale we were under $1000 shy of our goal!? BUT, since then we have had a few more donations!? Thanks to Brittany Stewart, Ali Seeling, Kristy Robert, and Heather Booth I think we are only $700 away from our goal!? This is amazing, and totally Jesus. We couldn't have done it without you guys!

So, that does leave us with $700 more to raise. If you have been considering donating to our trip to Swazi there is still time, and most of all keep praying!

Prayer Request: TEAM UNITY. Pray that God would protect us as team from any disunity! I was reading in Psalms 2 today, and the Gentile Kings hoped to ruin the Israelites by "breaking their bonds"(v3). I feel one of the easiest ways the enemy could take away our light  is by causing discord. "They will know us by our love." May all we say to others or one another always be in love. May we respect the authority given us by HPC Swazi, and never give a single person room to question us our the Message of The Gospel!

Thanks for all you do!

Love,

Swazi Update!

Hey guys!

So we are 2 months and 29 days out from going to Swazi!!!! But, we are only a little over a month out from needing all our finances!

Update/Shoutouts!

Thank you to the Wilson's! Michelle was able to do some flower bed cleanup for them; and in return they blessed us with a donation!

Thank you to Courtney Kastner! She sent us a donation through our PayPal website AND bought a #Mug4Missions from Michelle!

Thank you to Katie Crawford who blessed us with $10 on our $2 Tuesday last week!

Thank you to Tara Walsh for buying two #Mug4Missions mugs!

Thanks to Mary Nelson for the donation today at work!

That gives us $600 total!!! Thank you Jesus!!! But, we need $8800 for us both to go, so continued financial support would be greatly appreciated! We need $8200 more. AND KEEP PRAYING!!! We know that God will take what has been given and multiply it. Not only for our need to GO, but in the lives that are touched while we are in Swaziland. So, please continue to pray as well!!! Please lift up our local pastors there, Adam and Kim Braud, and pray that God prepares the hearts of all the women who will attend the conference!

We love you all and are EXTREMELY thankful for all your love and support.

Please help support The Bonds in Swaziland!

Hey Everybody! We are excited to announce that we are currently planning a missions trip to Africa this summer! If possible, Michelle will be visiting the Healing Place campus in Swaziland with a team from Baton Rouge. This will be Michelle's second visit to Africa! We are excited to see what God can do in Swazi through her and the rest of Healing Place Missions.

However, we are looking to God to provide the funds as we can not do it on our own. Michelle is working on some fundraising ideas, but because the cost to go to Africa is so high, the primary means of fundraising will have to be through the generosity of others on this website.

The current amount needed to be raised is $4400, but the team is currently working on multiple ways to cut this cost including local business sponsorships and team fundraising, and we will let you know of that progress as well! We will be working on a running counter to let you know how much more we have to raise.

As you can see, we have a link to our PayPal account on the right. Absolutely 100% of the funds will go to missions through HPC, whether or not we are able to raise the full amount for her to go. Outside of giving, we would appreciate as much prayer as you can provide! We believe we can make a big impact on the area in the short amount of time we plan to be there, and we will keep you updated throughout the trip.

Thank you for considering donating. Every $1 helps, nothing is too small. We love you all!
